What our students say…

Thanks for the great lesson with Madie yesterday. You really have a gift with young children. She was thrilled afterwards and said, “I love it here! I love riding! I love Ms. Melissa!” It was such a relief to see her smiling at the end. ~ Vanessa W.

I look forward to my Sunday mornings at Dragonfire as much as my daughter and that’s saying something. ~ Clair T. To read the complete version, click here.

DRAGONFIRE RIDING CLUB

Riding students at Dragonfire range from the child/adult who has never ridden a horse to advanced competitors. Students are invited to participate in the Dragonfire Riding Club (DFRC).  DFRC holds 3 to 4 unmounted meetings per year, mostly in the winter months, and covers topics such as “How to Lunge Your Horse”, “Taking Care of Your Horse’s Legs”, etc. All students may attend at no charge. Mounted meetings are usually held monthly in groups based on ability of horse/rider and are limited to students who can walk/trot/canter independently and who either have their own horses or have secured permission to use a DF lesson horse. Fee for mounted meetings is $50. Competitions and other activities may be planned.

Another important Youth organization is our United States Eventing Association’s Area IV group, click HERE for details.
