We are proud to offer Derby Days for 2024! The Derby Days @ Dragonfire will be a three-part series culminating in a High Point Championship for each level: Grasshopper*,Intro, Beginner Novice, Novice, Training. Derby Days will be comprised of a Dressage Test and a Cross Country round with Show Jumps to start with an optimum time for each level. The courses will include ditches, banks and a water feature. The Derby courses will be educational and fun for both horses and riders, set in an encouraging and relaxed atmosphere.
*Grasshopper level is for beginners. USEA Starter dressage, poles on ground stadium and very tiny cross-country. No banks or ditches. There will be water to walk or trot through. (Reader allowed for Dressage: 2 penalty points; leader allowed for jumping: 4 penalty points.)
** This year we are also offering an Academy Class for Walk Trotters who do not feel confident enough for the Grasshopper, but would like to try riding a course out in the open. All kinds of assistance allowed. If you would like to enter this class, write it in on the entry. Ask us for the Dressage test and we will email it to you.

Entries for our first Derby date are OPEN! Limited stabling available. Non-comp second jump rounds available on entry form. Mail in both entry form and release. Engraved halters to the winners of each division at each derby, with an embroidered cooler going to each of the Series Champions. Ribbons to sixth place. We can’t wait to see you here!
